A director, choreographer, and producer; Alfred’s work intends to entertain and engage audiences with uplifting, characterful stories. Alfred was awarded a Dance and Drama Award full scholarship to train in professional dance at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. Upon graduation, Alfred co-founded FTG Productions Ltd. with Joel Fisher: a production company dedicated to the development of new British musical theatre. For the past seven years Alfred has been presenting work in London and around the UK; including at the New Wimbledon, and Bloomsbury theatres.
Recent work includes movement director on new musical RIDE (Vault Festival 2020) and creator/director of DERRIÈRE ON A G STRING (Lilian Baylis Studio, Sadler's Wells Theatre).
Alfred has received two Arts Council England grants, developed over ten new musicals working with the five leading musical theatre colleges in and around London, and produced DERRIÈRE ON A G STRING (Lilian Baylis Studio, Sadler's Wells), BATEMAN AND CONLEY: TOGETHER AGAIN (Live at Zédels), DERRIÈRE ON A G STRING (Workshop Production, Tristan Bates),EYES CLOSED, EARS COVERED (The Bunker), DETENTION IN MUSIC ROOM 1 (short dance film), THE SORROWS OF SATAN (Tristan Bates), THE COPLA MUSICAL (Rosemary Branch), and UNDER CONSTRUCTION (The Other Palace).
Alfred has also worked as a freelance director-choreographer for THE LIMIT (winner of the People’s Choice and Outstanding New Work Awards at the Vaults Festival 2019), the Roald Dahl Museum, A SOLDIER'S TALE (Bloomsbury Theatre), SIDESHOWS and PIERROT LUNAIRE (Arcola Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe), STAND AND DELIVER! (King’s Head Theatre), The Helios Collective, and Hertfordshire Music Services.
